1. Who We Are

RUNG ("RUNG", "we", "our") is operated by Apptimus LTD, a company registered in Israel, at Habarzel 3, Tel Aviv, Israel. Contact: support@newrung.com. This Policy explains our handling of personal information when you use newrung.com and its assessments. RUNG primarily serves US audiences but may be accessed from other countries. Local privacy rights may apply.

2. Age Eligibility

RUNG is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from people under 18. If we learn that a minor submitted personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it, subject to legal obligations.

3. Information We Collect

We collect answers to assessments, including free-text responses; generated assessments, interpretations and recommendations; email addresses if voluntarily provided; browser and session identifiers; device, connection and page information; campaign and referral identifiers; interactions, offer views and clickouts; and messages sent to support. Providing an email does not create a verified account or guarantee delivery of an email.

4. Wellness and Sensitive Information

Wellness assessments may include information concerning health, weight, wellbeing, habits, goals or interest in health-related services. Such information may be sensitive under applicable law. Please do not include unnecessary medical records, identification numbers or information about other people. We use submitted information to provide the requested assessment, maintain the service, troubleshoot and improve recommendation quality, subject to applicable law. We do not intentionally send questionnaire answer text, email addresses or health-answer fields in advertising event payloads. Analytics processing is addressed separately below and may involve assessment-related information; it must not be assumed to be anonymous.

5. Why We Process Information

We use information to provide and personalize assessments, generate guidance, save progress, associate an email with an assessment when requested, operate and protect the website, analyze usability and recommendation performance, attribute partner referrals, comply with legal obligations and respond to requests. Where applicable, processing may rely on providing the requested service, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligations. For sensitive information and optional technologies, we will obtain consent or offer other choices where legally required.

6. AI and Automated Guidance

Some Career and Earnings responses may be processed by Anthropic to interpret answers and generate guidance when AI features are enabled. The current Wellness assessment uses rules-based guidance, according to our published service description. We may change features and providers with appropriate notice. AI output may be inaccurate and does not replace professional advice. Provider retention, international transfers and model-training settings require operational confirmation before publication; we do not assert that submitted information is never retained or trained on by providers.

7. Analytics, Advertising and Cookies

We use PostHog for product analytics and source-specific Meta and OpenAI advertising measurement. Advertising event fields are designed to exclude emails and answer text; browser identifiers, IP addresses and page information can still constitute personal information. PostHog may process assessment-related interaction data, including potentially sensitive context, depending on actual event and replay configuration. Optional analytics and advertising controls are available through "Your Privacy Choices" on the website. We recognize Global Privacy Control for advertising tracking as described in our current implementation. Browser preferences may be stored for up to one year and may be lost when storage is cleared or browsers change. Strictly necessary service records are separate from optional tracking. We will honor consent or opt-out requirements that apply to the visitor.

8. Affiliate Referrals and Other Disclosures

When you select a partner offer, tracking services such as Voluum and the partner may receive click, campaign, referral or attribution identifiers and ordinary connection information. Our stated integration does not send questionnaire answers or profile contents to affiliate partners. Partners operate their own websites and privacy policies. We may receive commission or conversion attribution information. We may also share information with service providers supporting hosting, security, analytics, AI, communications and operations, and when required by law or in a legitimate corporate transaction subject to applicable safeguards.

9. International Processing

Apptimus LTD is based in Israel and providers may process data in other jurisdictions, including the United States. Where required, we will implement appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards. Specific hosting regions, recipients and transfer mechanisms remain subject to verification.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and improve our services, maintain the security and integrity of our platform, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. You may request the deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@newrung.com, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate retention needs.

11. Security

We seek to apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of information handled. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Specific controls, access restrictions, encryption, incident response and vendor arrangements must be verified internally before stronger security assurances are published.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, information about processing, or opt out of certain advertising-related sharing or targeted advertising. Other rights, such as portability, withdrawal of consent, objection or appeal, may apply. Contact support@newrung.com. We may verify identity and association with relevant records before acting. Turning off optional tracking does not delete previously collected records. We will not discriminate unlawfully for exercising privacy rights.

Third-Party Links and Limited Offer Coverage

RUNG may link to a selected subset of third-party providers. These providers operate their own sites and privacy practices. As currently described by RUNG, referral links share tracking or attribution identifiers rather than questionnaire answers with affiliate partners.

Your Privacy Choices

You can turn off optional analytics or advertising measurement for this browser using the privacy controls made available on the site. Your assessment and recommendations remain available. Internal service records are handled separately. We respect the Global Privacy Control browser signal for advertising tracking. Preferences are saved for up to one year in first-party browser storage; clearing storage or changing browser can change which saved preferences are available. Turning off tracking does not delete previously collected records.
